Beginning with the 2008 Parade, we will be judging our parade. We have now defined the catagories we are judging and they are: Class 'A' High School Marching Band 1st Place Trophy Class 'B' High School Marching Band 1st Place Trophy Class 'A' High School Marching Band 2nd Place Trophy Class 'B' High School Marching Band 2nd Place Trophy ( we are using 'Certified' High School Band Judges to Judge the High School bands ) Middle School Marching Band 1st Place Trophy Middle School Marching Band 2nd Place Trophy 1st Place Fire Department Engraved Plaque 2nd Place Fire Department Engraved Plaque (Fire Department Judges are experienced Fire Department reps from out of town Fire Departments, to eliminate bias) The judges for the rest of the catagories will be local Celebrities and Honorable Denizens Outstanding Commercial Entry Trophy Outstanding Non-Commercial Entry Trophy Outstanding School Sponsored Group Trophy Outstanding Equestrian Group Trophy Outstanding Boy Scout Troop Trophy Outstanding Girl Scout Troop Trophy Outstanding Antique/Classic Vehicle Trophy Outstanding Antique Tractor Trophy Outstanding Motorcycle Group Trophy Outstanding Drill Team Trophy Outstanding Over-All Entry Trophy Outstanding Use of Theme ( Keep Christ in Christmas ) Trophy This list is for all intents and purposes the final list. However we still reserve the right to modify it as needed. We have already selected some very attractive and unique trophies as well as plaques for the Fire Departments which should be treasured for years to come by those who win.
